Wolston Farmhouse!
We had a fabulous excursion to Wolston Farmhouse in Term 3. Wolston Farmhouse is Brisbane’s oldest surviving residential farmhouse. It’s a 19th Century rural gem. This historical landmark, previously known as Wolston House is situated in a rural setting dating back to 1852. It was the first property to be taken of by the National Trust of Australia (Queensland).
The children enjoyed a wonderful, hands on experience where they were taken back in time. They enjoyed activities of cooking, cleaning, doing household chores and playing some games. What a fabulous day!!
